TSBDE has approved the following as program sponsors:
American Dental Association Continuing Education Recognition Program (CERP).
In-classroom setting CE hours can be completed as Live Interactive Webinars (you can ask and answer questions) through one of our board approved providers.
As part of the 24-hour requirement, a course in human trafficking prevention approved by the executive commissioner of the Texas Health and Human Services Commission must be completed.
ACES courses are accredited by the American Dental Association Continuing Education Recognition Program (ADA CERP) and are live interactive webinars.
Our course, Human Trafficking: Could Your Patient Be a Victim? is approved for the Texas Health and Human Services Health Care Practitioner Human Trafficking Training CE Requirement.
DEA 8-Hour Mandatory Training
All DEA-licensed prescribers nationwide, including dentists, are now subject to a NEW one-time 8-hour opioids training requirement per federal congressional mandate (MATE Act). If you are a DEA-licensed dentist, these 8 hours of training are required for your next renewal occurring on or after June 27, 2023.
