Sara Mercier is a myofunctional therapist, Certified Myofunctional Airway Specialist, and dental hygienist since 2014. Her training in myofunctional therapy and airway medicine have enhanced her capacity to help dental professionals heal their patients. Working with the dentist and orthodontist, she is able to help navigate myofunctional disorders that affect dental health and treatment.
As a myofunctional orthodontic patient herself from the age of 10, Sara has a particular passion for exploring how myofunctional disorders affect sleep, malocclusion, and decay as well as periodontal disease, bruxism, hormones, inflammation, and autoimmune diseases. As a private myofunctional therapist, she helps clients from around the world recognize and address myofunctional disorders.
