Every dentist licensed to practice in the state of California is required to take an approved course of the California Dental Practice Act. This Act defines the procedures, activities, conduct, and scope of how a dentist must practice in the state of California. Most of these same guidelines apply to the ethical practice of dentistry across the USA.

- Requirement for renewal of the dental license

About Live, Interactive Continuing Education Webinars
A live, interactive webinar is similar to attending a continuing education seminar in your community, except that you attend via your computer, tablet or mobile phone. Each course is live and allows and encourages your participation. As long as you have access to a device that can play sound, you can participate in an ACES webinar. No special computer knowledge or equipment is required to participate in our webinars. When you enroll in an ACES course, you will be sent an email with the course syllabus and complete information on how to join the webinar. At the conclusion of your live webinar, you will receive an email with a link to your online quiz. Once you complete your quiz, you’ll automatically receive your continuing education certificate via email.
