3 LIVE CE UNITS
Instructor: Dr. Virgil Karnatz DDS
On average, the general dentist has a 20% failure rate in endodontic treatment. We must be doing something wrong! This course will discuss step-by-step procedures that will give you a more predictable outcome for the endodontic portion of your practice. We will discuss the five tests to determine pulpal and periradicular diagnosis. We will also discuss the best anesthetic techniques for treating the endodontic patient that can’t quite get “numb” enough. We will discuss the proper way to get endodontic access to achieve proper:
- Cleaning and shaping
- Disinfection
- Three-dimensional obturation of the root canal system using rotary instruments.
We will also talk about pain medication and antibiotics for the post-operative patient.
I really enjoyed the instructor and his presentation. He was interesting and funny, yet very thorough. I will look to take more courses from him in the future.
